Mandalay was great, I upgraded to a suite, but the pool was the main reason I booked there, unfortunately I couldn’t get a chair or seating, I went Labor Day weekend , crowded expected , but asking $800 for one day bed was not price competitive as others had many more options. Adult pool was super small, wave pool more like a water park, so not an adult Caesar palace vibe for sure.

Staff was awesome and helpful

My room was very quiet and I enjoyed having the kitchen amenities and the balcony. The bed was average. My only negative comments are related to the unusually excessive daily damage deposit that I wasn’t expecting - big upfront unexpected expense! Also there was no bus cart for me to take groceries up to my room - but the bellmen would do it for a set fee. The pool was lovely, but closed at 7pm, which seemed early to me for summer. I enjoyed my stay, but won’t probably return to this resort.

Stayed for only 1 night but will be back! Super friendly staff, Valet crew was very professional and the hotel( while showing its age) was outstanding
